Arlene Lukas
Arlene became assistant rector of St. Augustine's in October, 2004, after serving as an assistant at St. Philip's Episcopal Church in Brevard, NC (2001-2004). She previously was ordained in another denomination and served at parishes in South Bend, IN and Durham, NC.  Before that, she taught elementary school for twenty years.  A Chicago native, she received a Bachelor of Science in Education from Loyola University, a Masters in Educational Administration from Roosevelt University, a Master of Divinity from Starr King School for the Ministry in Berkeley, CA and a post-graduate diploma from Virginia Theological Seminary.  She is single, and focuses her ministry on children and youth.
