The Rev. Sue Nebel, Deacon
Sue began serving as deacon at St. Augustine’s in January 2015. Ordained in 1998, Sue soon embarked on a special ministry as a “vagabond deacon,” serving in parishes that did not have a deacon for two or three years to give people the experience of having a deacon serving in their midst. She also teaches about what it means to serve as a deacon through presentations and conversation with people who are interested. Sue accompanies Bishop Jeffrey Lee on his visits to parishes in the diocese, serving in the liturgy and sharing about the diaconate. Because of this, Sue is sometimes away from St. Augustine’s on Sunday. She began her career as an academic, teaching at Loyola University for 19 years. She then worked in the fields of career development, social ministry, and not-for-profit fundraising. For the last ten years of her professional life, Sue worked as a hospice chaplain. She has a B.A. from Albion College, an M.A. from the University of Colorado, a Ph.D. from Northwestern University, and an M.Div. from Seabury Western. She lives in Wilmette with her husband, Henry. Email contact: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Andrea Mysen, Priest Associate
Andrea currently serves on the bishop's staff as acting director of ministries, where her work focuses on congregational development and transition ministry. She and her family began worshipping at St. Augustine's in early 2015, and Andrea joined us as priest associate in September 2015. Although her work often takes her to other churches on Sundays, Andrea serves as preacher and presider as often as she is able. Before becoming a priest, Andrea was a banker and then a psychotherapist working with at-risk youth in Denver. Most recently, Andrea served as rector at Trinity Church in Highland Park. Andrea has a B.B.A. from Texas Christian University (Go Frogs!), an M.A. from Denver Seminary, and an M.Div. from Seabury-Western. She lives in Evanston with her wife (René), their two children (Sadie and Asher), and two naughty cats (Maggie and Quinn.) Email contact: email@example.com.

Theresa Kimball, Parish Administrator
Theresa joined the staff as St. A’s parish administrator in August 2017. She grew up near Albany, NY and graduated from Marymount College in Tarrytown, NY. Her husband’s career kept them moving over the years from Kansas to Kentucky to Ohio to Missouri, back to Ohio, on to Boston and then back to Theresa’s hometown for a short stay. She and her husband, Bill, moved to Evanston last fall and Theresa says it’s their last stop. They now live close to their daughters (their son lives in DC) – and their three grandchildren 😊 – so life is good! In 1998 Theresa answered an ad for a p/t parish secretary at an Episcopal church in Cincinnati and there she found her calling….and eventually her new church home. After working there for 13 years, she then worked for 3 years as the office manager of an Episcopal church in Boston. She is so happy to work in the Episcopal church again and is thrilled to be at St. A’s. When Theresa is not spending time with her grandchildren, she enjoys scrapbooking, reading, visiting family and friends, and playing local tourist. Email contact: email@example.com.
