Why We Are Here

Formation helps us learn about the faith we profess

and transforms us to be the eyes, hands, feet and heart of Christ.

We offer opportunities to connect, reflect, release, and ask the questions that nourish us,

enabling us to grow together in love and service.

All are welcome. Join us.

How We Engage

Sundays after Worship

We gather to explore the spiritual life and the work of the church, and to learn about opportunities to serve our larger community and world.

Adult Forums: Parishioners, clergy, or visiting community partners offer presentations on a breadth of topics ranging from Christian spirituality and church history to immigration justice and accessibility in worship. These forums offer a chance to learn, ask questions, and discern how our church responds to community needs.

Sermon Discussion Groups: Have you ever left worship thinking, “Now what?” Parishioner-led Sermon Discussion Groups help us reflect on the week’s sermon and lectionary readings and to wonder together how God is calling us to respond and engage in our daily lives.

Christian Meditation: NEW in 2025-2026! Stephan Lacor, a Masters student in Christian Spirituality at Loyola University, will offer a monthly Christian meditation practice. Come pray in silence and sit in God’s presence. Beginner friendly!

Intergenerational Formation: These opportunities are intentionally designed to bring generations together for fellowship and experiential learning. Events include Advent Wreath Making, a St. Nicholas Celebration, a Holy Week Journey with Jesus interactive service, and more.

In-Depth Study

Education for Ministry

EfM is a four-year program of scripture study and theological reflection within the context of small group conversation and practice.

EfM helps people of faith explore the depth of the Christian tradition, connecting with their experiences of the world as they study, pray, and engage in theological reflection together.
